Partnerships

We work with a range of partners, including local authorities and housing developers, to deliver new homes – and we’re always looking for new partnership opportunities.

Great partnerships allow us to do more. We are collaborative, innovative and enjoy working with organisations that share our values. We’re open to new ways of maximising financial and social returns in order to give back to the whole community.

Hart Homes

Hart Homes is a joint venture between Clarendon Living and Watford Borough Council, which offers a pioneering approach to addressing housing need.

Formed in 2017, it was created to develop and manage quality homes for people in Watford and the surrounding areas. This was the first of our joint ventures and the first of its kind between a housing association and a local authority.

Three Rivers Homes

Three Rivers Homes is our joint venture with Three Rivers District Council, formed in 2017.

Our aim is to provide homes in Abbots Langley, South Oxhey and elsewhere. Our first project through Three Rivers Homes was The Chess, which delivered 33 high-quality homes on the site of the former Grapevine pub in South Oxhey.

Hertsmere Living

In 2022, we formed a new joint venture with Hertsmere Borough Council. A number of social and affordable homes under construction were transferred to Hertsmere Living upon completion, with the council retaining nomination rights, ensuring the homes go to those that need them most locally. Using Watford Community Housing’s expertise, the partnership aims to deliver more affordable homes at other potential sites across the borough.
